The District 11 (Charlottetown-Parkdale) by-election will take place on November 27th, 2017, with polls open from 9am to 7pm at Eastlink Centre, 46 Kensington Rd.
Advance voting will also take place on November 18th, 20th and 24th between 9am and 7pm at Eastlink Centre, 46 Kensington Rd.
Mail-in ballots applications must be received no later than November 14th, 2017 at 6pm. Click here to download a mail-in ballot application form. Your ballot will be mailed to you on November 15th, and then you must return the completed ballot to Elections PEI by November 27th at 7pm.
If you cannot make it to vote on any of the advance voting days or on November 27th, you can also vote at the District Returning Office at the Sherwood Business Centre, 161 St Peter's Rd, on the following days between 10am and 6pm:
November 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23 and 23
Vote from home: If you will have any trouble getting to the polls to vote, you may request someone from Elections PEI to come to your home with a ballot. Just call 902-367-8900. This option is available November 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24.
You are eligible to vote in this by-election if you meet all of the following qualifications:
You reside within the boundaries of District 11 (see map below);
You are 18 years old or older by Election Day (Nov. 27, 2017);
You are a Canadian citizen;
You are a resident of PEI for a period of at least 6 months from the day the election is called.
